Inside you find:

A unicorn-like horn made of pure silver, wrapped in incredibly fine indigo silk. It radiates with a comforting feeling.

A long blueish staff, with a jagged base like an icicle. The top is a small globe with an active snow flurry inside. It's cold makes the hair on your arms stand up.

A shimmering, full length cloak that looks like the shifting waves of the sea. It is light and airy, and feels like cool silk.

Contact the GM to let them know that you opened the box successfully.

Underneath everything you also find a scroll tube, sealed with some white wax. Along the side you see written in cursive ink: For Balgor, My Friend

Inside the tube is a missive:

My dearest Balgor,

I've missed seeing you in Dolor. Veon and I oft talk of the old days. With the abounding wars and bloodshed, it is more pleasant to escape to memory... I'm sure you are quite busy what with the world being what it is. I hope you are well, and I am so sincerely sorry to have not found you before our departure. We searched in vain, and time was in short supply. Not a day goes by that I don't feel the guilt for not saying goodbye.

If you ever do find this place, please know that we all loved you and cared for you like family. I am not much longer for this world, and I hope one day we may meet again in a life beyond.
