Another waterlogged book appears here, more ancient than the first. Most of the pages are warped, and some show spots of molding. From the last few pages, you can tell (although the other pages are long since faded) that this was some kind of journal of the life of a sailor, before their sailing days. Likely a memoir of youth that was carried with them on their travels.
You don't see anything suspicious inside, however on the back cover, you see a flowing script:
