The Flying City

You enter a long hall, guarded by two glowing dragon statues. Their eyes seem to follow you, but are completely inanimate otherwise. On each side of the hall, beautiful tapestries hang with alters beneath them, scattered offerings on their surfaces; old pottery that you assume held flowers, brass plates for food, and even small trinkets that looked handmade by children.

Benches sit opposite each tapestry, as if positioned for patrons to pray. A weathered and faded velvety fabric sits atop each.

A large blank area of the wall stands, unused. A faint outline indicates a tapestry may have one hung here, many many long years ago.

At the very end of the hall, you come to a picture flanked by two large braziers, flickering with orange fire. An alter of stone is set below it.
